Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards than are of a value less than 10 are said to be at their printed value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they merely appear as the two hands to be played).
Two hands of two cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand shall be the total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 will have a total of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).
A third card might be given out depending on the following practices:
- If the bettor or banker has a tally of eight or 9, then both bettors stand.
- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The larger of the 2 scores wins. Victorious stakes on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds less a 5% commission. Baccarat Tactics
As with most games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way a predictor of future outcomes. The most popular and probably most successful technique is the 1-3-two-six method. This method is employed to maximize profits and minimizing risk.
start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.
If you don’t win on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
