Baccarat Procedures
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than 10 are valued at their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands to be played).
2 hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand will be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 produces a total of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).
A third card may be played depending on the following guidelines:
- If the bettor or banker has a score of eight or 9, the two gamblers stand.
- If the gambler has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Winning stakes on the banker payout nineteen to twenty (even odds less a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have funds left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie usually pays eight to 1 but occasionally nine to 1. (This is a bad gamble as ties occur less than one every ten hands. be cautious of putting money on a tie. Nevertheless odds are generously better – nine to 1 versus 8 to one)
When done smartly, baccarat presents generally good odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.
Baccarat Strategy
As with many games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is never actually an indicator of future events. Tracking of prior outcomes on a chart is definitely a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.
The most commonly used and almost certainly most successful technique is the one-3-2-6 technique. This method is used to maximize winnings and controlling risk.
start by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of six on the fourth wager.
If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
