Baccarat Procedures
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are give a value of their printed number and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they merely represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards will now be played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand shall be the grand total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven and five has a tally of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).
A 3rd card can be given depending on the foll. codes:
- If the gambler or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, both gamblers stand.
- If the bettor has five or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.
- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the two scores wins. Successful wagers on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have $$$$$ remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie commonly pay out 8 to 1 and on occasion nine to 1. (This is not a good gamble as ties will happen lower than one every 10 hands. Definitely don’t try laying money on a tie. Even so odds are richly better – nine to one versus eight to one)
When done correctly, baccarat provides fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager ofcourse.
Baccarat Tactics
As with just about every games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not a predictor of future outcomes. Tracking of previous results on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.
The most established and probably most successful strategy is the one-3-2-6 concept. This schema is used to increase wins and limiting risk.
start by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the third gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.
If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. In other words you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
