Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is bet on with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum of the cards, however the beginning digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of one (5 plus 6 equals eleven; drop the initial ‘1′).

A 3rd card will be given out based on the rules below:

- If the player or bank achieves a value of 8 or nine, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player holds, the bank takes a card on 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to determine if the house stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The better of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal money less a 5 percent commission. The Rake is recorded and cleared out once you leave the game so be sure to have money left before you head out). Winning bets on the player pays 1:1. Winning wagers for tie typically pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen less than one in every ten rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Bet on correctly baccarat banque gives pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Banque Strategy

As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few common false impressions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Tracking previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most established and possibly the most accomplished scheme is the one-three-two-six technique. This plan is employed to pump up profits and minimizing risk.

Start by placing 1 unit. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three chips on the second bet. Should you win you will now have six on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd round. Should you succeed on the third bet, add two on the 4 on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the initial round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first round followed by a hit on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third provides you with a gain of 2. And success on the initial 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the second wager 5 instances for each successful streak of four wagers and in the end, break even.
