Baccarat Regulations
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below a value of ten are worth their printed value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they strictly portray the two hands to be given out).

Baccarat Odds
The bigger of the two scores will be the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie generally pays eight to 1 but on occasion 9 to one. (This is an awful bet as ties will occur less than one every 10 hands. Avoid placing bets on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – nine to one versus 8 to one)
Played accurately, baccarat presents relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.
Baccarat Tactics
