Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules

Punto banco is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at their printed value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the cards, however the beginning digit is ignored. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a value of 1 (5 plus six = eleven; ditch the first ‘1′).

A third card will be given based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a score of eight or 9, both players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player holds, the bank hits on a total lower than five. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to determine if the bank holds or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19:20 (even payout minus a five percent rake. Commission are tracked and paid off once you depart the table so make sure you still have funds remaining before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at 8:1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a awful wager as ties occur lower than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 vs. eight to one)

Bet on correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides generally decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games Baccarat has a handful of common myths. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future events. Tracking past outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most familiar and possibly the most acknowledged scheme is the one-three-two-six plan. This technique is used to pump up winnings and minimizing losses.

Start by placing one dollar. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the third round, put down two to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Success on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you are even. Succeeding at all four bets gives you with 12, a take of 10. This means you can squander the second round five times for every successful streak of 4 wagers and in the end, balance the books.
