Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards under 10 are of their printed number and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they just symbolize the 2 hands to be played).
Two hands of two cards are then played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for every hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 produces a value of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).
A 3rd card might be played depending on the following rules:
- If the player or banker has a value of 8 or nine, then both players stand.
- If the bettor has five or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to see if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the two scores is the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have money still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie usually pay out 8 to 1 and sometimes 9 to 1. (This is not a good gamble as ties will happen less than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from betting on a tie. Even so odds are vastly better – 9 to 1 versus eight to one)
Played smartly, baccarat provides pretty good odds, aside from the tie wager obviously.
Baccarat Tactics
As with all games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. 1 of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is not an actual indicator of future actions. Monitoring of prior outcomes on a chart is a complete waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.
The most established and possibly most successful method is the 1-3-2-six scheme. This technique is employed to increase wins and reducing risk.
start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.
If you lose on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
