Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies

Baccarat banque is gambled on with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are valued at their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, however the 1st digit is discarded. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a value of one (five plus 6 = eleven; dump the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given out using the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the player has five or less, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player stands, the banker hits on a total lower than five. If the player hits, a table is used to figure out if the house holds or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The larger of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even payout minus a five percent commission. The Rake is recorded and paid off when you depart the game so be sure to have money left before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than one in every ten hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)

Gambled on properly baccarat chemin de fer provides pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of accepted false impressions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future actions. Keeping score of past outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and likely the most acknowledged scheme is the 1-3-2-6 method. This plan is used to maximize profits and limit losses.

Start by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have 6 on the table, pull off four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the third bet, put down two on the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th round.

Should you lose on the initial round, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first round followed by a loss on the second creates a hit of 2. Wins on the first two with a defeat on the third provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd wager 5 instances for every successful run of four rounds and in the end, are even.
