Baccarat Principles

Punto banco is played with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the cards, however the first digit is dropped. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a total of one (five plus six = 11; ignore the first ‘one’).

A third card might be given depending on the following rules:

- If the player or banker gets a score of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the player has five or less, she hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stands, the bank hits on a total less than five. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to determine if the banker stays or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a five percent rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you depart the game so be sure to still have money left over just before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays 1:1. Winning bets for a tie typically pays out at 8:1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for nine to one vs. 8 to 1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides pretty good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method

As with all games Baccarat has some accepted myths. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping score of previous results on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most accepted and likely the most favorable course of action is the one-three-two-six tactic. This technique is used to maximize winnings and minimizing risk.

Start by placing 1 chip. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a grand total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the game table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd round. If you win the third wager, deposit two on the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.

Should you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first wager followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a defeat on the third provides you with a gain of two. And success on the initial three with a loss on the fourth means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all four wagers gives you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can not win on the 2nd round five instances for every successful run of 4 bets and in the end, experience no loss.
