Baccarat Procedures
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued under ten are worth face value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they merely act as the two hands to be played).
Two hands of two cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the sum of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 … 5 gives a tally of two (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).
A 3rd card can be dealt depending on the foll. rules:
- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or 9, then both bettors stand.
- If the gambler has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to decide if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The greater of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning stakes on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have cash still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie as a rule pay eight to one and sometimes nine to 1. (This is not a good bet as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. be cautious of wagering on a tie. However odds are somewhat better – nine to one versus 8 to one)
When played correctly, baccarat offers fairly good odds, away from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Tactics
As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. One of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future happenings. Tracking of old results on a chart is definitely a complete waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most common and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-3-2-6 concept. This technique is employed to boost successes and reducing risk.
commence by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you win the third wager, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the fourth gamble.
If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
